Intuit was offering 50% off for the first three months on paid plans and raises list prices most years, so treat the left column as the price after any promotion ends. Tiers are lined up by who they are for, not as like-for-like feature sets.

When EazeAccounts is the better fit
You are starting out, or you run a small service business, and you want real books without a monthly bill until the business justifies one. Eaze Free gives you two connected bank accounts with unlimited transactions, ten invoices a month that customers can pay online, estimates, mileage and core reports on the same ledger the paid plans use, so nothing is re-entered when you upgrade.
You want your accountant in the books without a per-seat surprise. On Premium and Pro your CPA or bookkeeper works in your books from their own partner workspace, which is free for them, and they can see the reconciliations, bills and invoices you have already done rather than rebuilding them at year end.
You would rather ask than dig. EazeAI is built into the ledger: it proposes matches when you reconcile a statement, reads the bills you upload, and answers questions such as what you spent on contractors this quarter or which customer pays slowest, drawing on your own numbers. The monthly allowance starts at ten requests on Free and grows on each paid plan.
When QuickBooks is the better fit
Your bookkeeper or CPA works in QuickBooks all day and does not want to learn another tool; the switching cost is theirs as much as yours. QuickBooks also has the largest ecosystem of third-party apps, and if you depend on a specific integration, check that it exists before you move.
You need capabilities EazeAccounts does not offer today, such as in-product payroll (EazeAccounts refers you to a partner) or the larger reporting and workflow features of the top QuickBooks tier. Neither product is a good fit for a business that sells through online marketplaces and needs that channel inside the books, so check that requirement separately.

For the accounting software, yes: it is a double-entry ledger with bank feeds, invoicing, bills, reconciliation and reports, and it starts free. Payroll is through a partner rather than in the product, and the add-on ecosystem is smaller. Whether it fits depends on which of those you rely on.
